Connect an AI assistant to Calculty
Calculty works with AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude. Once connected, your assistant can find any of our calculators, run them with your numbers, and read our published guides — all without leaving the chat.
Your Calculty connection link
Copy this link — you will paste it into your AI assistant in the steps below.
/mcpConnect your assistant
ChatGPT
- 1Open ChatGPT's connector settings and enable Developer mode (note the risk notice shown there). If it's unavailable, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
- 2Open the New plugin dialog.
- 3Paste Calculty as the name and your connection link above as the URL.
- 4Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connector), then click Create.
- 5Enable Calculty from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it — for example, "Use Calculty to work out the mortgage on a $400,000 home."
Claude
- 1Open the custom connector dialog — the name and link are already filled in.
- 2Review the details and click Add.
